“Maybe I will have another chance”: the former Pakistan captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed hopes to make a return

Former Pakistani captain Sarfaraz Ahmed is undoubtedly one of the best players in the country. In 2007, his first output in the ODI match against India, Sarfaraz, ODI’ler 2315 running, tests in the tests and 818 jogging in the T20Is. Under his captain, Pakistan received the title of 2017 Champions Cup after defeating India at Summit Clash. However, in the last December 2023, Sarfaraz played for Pakistan in a test match against Australia and appeared to the plan of things.
Before the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League, Sarfaraz joined Quetta Gladiats as team director. Recently, he has also opened speculation about international retirement.
In an interview with Cricket Pakistan, Sarfaraz said, “I haven’t announced my retirement yet. When someone plays cricket throughout their lives, it is painful to stay away from the game. Every player needs to move away from the jack, but I’m trying to make the best use of the matches I get.” He said.
37 -year -old Hamur, who kept a return hopes alive, said he would give 100 percent if he still gets a chance.
“Maybe I’m still holding a little hope that I will get another chance. I have never said that I have to play for Pakistan – of course, to represent their countries is the dream of every player. I just want to perform well in the jack I play and give 100 percent.” He said.
“When I feel that the moment is coming, I will say it myself – yes, my jack is over now.”
37 -year -old Pakistan represented 54 tests, 117 ODI and 61 T20I and scored 6,164 runs in three forms, including six centuries and 32 fifty.
He was under his leadership, Pakistan raised the first ICC Champions Cup in 2017 with a striking victory of 180 people in the final breaking a box office records.
In the Sarfaraz rudder, Pakistan was victorious by any captain from the most countries in the 11 T20I series in a row.
Since then, he slowly found it on the edge and offered his time for a possible breakthrough. The post -test appearance was made in Australia in 2023.
