North Wilkesboro checked the second box on Saturday, NC – Brad Keselowski.

Keselowski, who won the pole for Nascar All-Star race on Sunday, supported his victory on Friday at the first All-Star Heat race in North Wilkesboro Speedway on Saturday.

Already guaranteed the best starting point, Keselowski will take the field green at the $ 1 million exhibition event (FS1, MRN and Siriusxm Nascar Radio 8 PM ET).

Christopher Bell, the second in Friday’s elimination, secured the other front row starting position with a decisive victory in the second heat.

Although the box score showed that Keselowski managed 74 of 75 rounds at the first temperature, the victory was not easy.

During the 31st round contest, Keselowski remained on the track on old tires such as Tyler Reddick Austin Dillon and Josh Berry. William Byron, Ross Chastain, Ryan Bleney, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. And Alex Bowman was taken for new tires at the break.

During the last 38 rounds, both Byron and Chastain challenged in turn for leadership, but Keselowski stubbornly held his position in the superior top lane and stopped his competitors.

“This is what should happen,” said Keselowski. “It had to be a fun race, and I think I ran next to 45 (Reddick), 1 (Chastain), at least one dozen or maybe two dozen rounds. It was a good fight.

“I’m glad we’re on the top, but it had to be like this, right?”

In the 54th round, Chastain, O and Keselowski came forward to lead the tour while competing side by side, but Chastain’s advantage was short -lived.

After finishing the second in a 10-round dragging race against Byron, the Chastain will start third in the All-Star race, because the finishing order for heat arranges the inner grid positions for the main activity.

On Sunday, Bell managed every green flag tour in the second heat that formed the start order for the external order. When Chase Briscoe stayed on the runway and took six rounds under the yellow, in the 31st round, it took the highest time under two high stops under the competition.

Unlike Keselowski at the first temperature, Bell did not face a significant difficulty for bullet. The second, the winner of the All-Star race last year, finished 2.085 seconds before Joey Logano.

Bell, “to go there and only the first 30 rounds were really refreshing.” He said. “I didn’t know how Joey had four tires right behind me, but this was on the ray (Joe Gibbs of the Toyota).

“Tomorrow I am really happy and excited about the opportunity.”

Logano will begin as the fourth on Sunday night, behind the finish Chase Elliott, the fourth place behind the fourth place, and the outside of the fourth row and so on.

Chris Buescher, Daniel Suarez, Briscoe, Austin Cindric, Harrison Burton and Denny Hamlin fifth to 10 to 10 to 10th to 10th to 10th.

Byron came third at the first temperature, followed by Bleney, Bowman, Berry, Reddick, Dillon and Stenhouse. Justin Allgaier, who implemented and described Kyle Larson’s Chevrolet on Friday, did not compete in his heat.

May 25, for Indianapolis 500 on Saturday, the fastest at the 21st place after settling Larson, North Wilkesboro will compete on Sunday.

Larson and 19 drivers competing at the temperature on Saturday were already locked in the All-Star race. In the early hours of Sunday, two more drivers will be added to the back of the area from All-Star Open.

An additional driver will be selected with the All-Star fan vote that Noah Gragson has won for the last two years.
