Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuna Jr. will be activated on Friday night from the wounded list before the serial opener against San Diego Padres and will play in the first match in about 12 months.
2023 National League MVP, on May 26, 2024, the left knee tore the ACL. The activation will come three days before the anniversary of the injury.
Braves director Brian Snitker said, “Ronald will be released (Friday),” 8-7 against Washington Nationals on Thursday night. “We talked to you after talking to you (before the game), and we decided to play a game in Louisville (Thursday night) and decided to remove it (Friday), he can take it out today and play with us (Friday).
