Pomona Fairplex 2028 will host Kriket at the Olympics – Daily Bulletin

For the first time in 128 years, the Cricket will be part of the Olympics in 2028 and the teams will play at Fairplex in Pomona.

La28 – Organizers of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles – made the announcement Tuesday, April 15.

“We are ready to invite Fairplex and Pomona to Fairplex and Pomona,” Fairplex President and CEO Walter Marquez on Tuesday. “Our campus is perfect for an activity like the Olympics from a hotel to the open area from the park. And our local and regional community will be a great opportunity to get the chance to see an Olympic sport close to the house.”

For the Olympics, temporary cricket areas will be built in Fairplex.
