Is it ethical or stupid? Ishan Kishan out of the form, without breaking the ball

Ishan Kishan competed in IPL 2025 and failed in the match because of his own stupidity.
Now, how often does it happen, when a batsman doesn’t walk off, despite knowing they were out? Regularly one would assume. But how many times does a batsman walk off, when the appeal hasn’t been made? And that when they were not out. During the SRH vs MI clash on Wednesday, Ishan Kishan was found guilty of this stupidity, which even surprised the MI camp.
The drama unfolded in the second over of the Hyderabad innings, after they were put into bat, when Ishan Kishan could not tackle a ball down the leg side, by Deepak Chahar, well. As it passed the batter, to the keeper, no one really appealed, but the southpaw started walking. That was when even the umpire raised his finger.
After all this, the UltraEdge confirmed that there was no spike of the bat. In short, Ishan committed a blunder, when not only his side was struggling, but his personal form has been rather poor. Except for the century he scored in the first match, his numbers have been shoddy. In 8 matches, he has only 138 runs, where 106 was the highest, and he averages 23.
In fact, after that ton, it is only once that he has crossed the double-digit mark of 17. Rest all have been single-digit scores, highlighting his woes.
