CARSON HOCEVAR won the solid truck series race in Kansas

Kansas CITY, Kan.-Carson Hohevar, Layne Riggs Ford made a last round of contact, splashed from the outer wall, and half a round later took a checkered flag to win the Health Care 200 in Kansas Speedway on Saturday night.
Zafer ranked fifth in Hohevar’s second Nascar Craftsman Truck series this year, on the first 1.5 miles and his career.
However, Hocevar had to keep the fast -closing Riggs truck behind. In the last round, Riggs was directed into Hohevar’s 7th Spire Motorsports Chevrolet, entered the left back quarter of Silverrado and shifted the track to Hohevar’s truck.
After contact, he continued to control both Hohevar and Riggs, and both scraped the outer wall before continuing the finish line. William Byron looked at the third one, while Hocevar came second flat time in Kansas, Riggs, who ranked second 0.262 seconds ago.
However, Riggs was disqualified after finding a violation of a truck bed cover in the front -row motor sports Ford, the front -row motor sports number 3 of the audit after the race and raised Byron to the second place.
“I just hoped that they would collapse, but they didn’t,” he said, as the last jogging progressed and fought a truck 07 after 0.718 seconds of the race winner.
“I just thought I would make it fun,” he said after climbing from the truck for a pre -interview. “These 34 trucks (Riggs) were super, super good. This truck was really good in short runs – I didn’t think how backwards it would reach, but it was super good.
“Yes, it has been a while since I was at a finish as it was there. Credit him. I know you’re going to go to everything there.”
Riggs and finishing Corey Heim in third place lost the runway position on the wrong side of the Green Flag Pit cycle. While Riggs recovered to challenge for leadership, Heim sentenced him to an inappropriate restart to reduce his chances of victory.
“Man, I gave me all,” Riggs said. “We were really bad with the track position there. We were about to lead the third segment and we had a green flag pit stop, and we had to come from 16th in that green flag run to return to it.
“I arrived at him, I went into him a little. We both hit the wall and won the race. I think he was angry at me. I think he turned me down to the carbon.
However, with disqualification, Riggs had a large reason to be disappointed.
Heim directed 52 of the first 53 rounds and won the first stage, but when the rear rubber changer’s air gun was broken, he lost 15 positions under the 53rd round. Heim returned to the fourth place during the run, but when he cut the cycle of green flag stops in the sixth warning 97 for Frankie Muniz’s return to the field grass, heim was trapped down and forced him to take waves.
At that time after the pit in the lead tour Hohevar, 33 rounds for seven warnings of the race seized the control. Hocevar led three times for a total of 75 rounds.
Heim, by replacing the strips behind the Toni Breidinger truck, changed the strips before the restarting of a round 103. Heim, who was prevented from an attempt to win a third straight race in Kansas, came third at the end.
Heim, “He began with the breaking of the pit pistol – there is no mistake to my pit team,” he said. “They did a great job all night. He seemed to be a situational agreement, and then he caught the wrong time in the green flag cycle.
“He had to take the wave and start again from behind, and he went to the line by me for a punishment. Today is a role Coaster type.”
Rookie Gio Ruggierio ran fourth, then Stewart Friesen, Brandon Jones, Pole Winning Jake Garcia, Kaden Honeycutt, Grant Infinger and Daniel Hemric.
