CFP added Jeff Long Troy Dannen to the election committee

College Football Playoff Election Committee on Monday said that Nebraska Athletic Director Troy Dannen and the Opening Election Committee President and long -term athletics manager Jeff Long announced that he attended the board of directors.

Dannen fills the gap of former Maryland athletic director Damon Evans, who is currently in SMU.

Long, which will serve for a year, replaces Steve Weiberg, who resigned for personal reasons.

Dannen served as Cornhuskers' advertisement in the NCAA Constitutional Committee in the second year and the Department of Transformation Committee between 2021-23. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Football Surveillance Committee and the President of the NCAA Football Competition Committee. Before taking over Nebraska, Dannen kept the same title in Washington.
