Cincinnati transfer Dillon Mitchell decided to St. John’s on Wednesday for the 2025-26 season.
Mitchell, the first 5 hope in the 2022 class, was attached to the fifth player St.john’s head coach Rick Pitino transfer portal.

Mitchell, St. Other transfers in John’s are joining Ian Jackson (North Carolina), Bryce Hopkins (Providence), Joson Sanon (Arizona) and Oziyah Sellers (Stanford). Pitino also returns from last year’s team to All-Big East Advanced Zuby Ejiofor.
Mitchell, a 6-meter forward, stole an average of 9.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.4 balls for Bearcats in 2024-25, the first season in Cincinnati. He played his first two seasons in Texas.
In 107 career matches for Longhorns and Bearcats, it receives 7.9 points and 6.9 rebounds average.
