CJ Cup Byron Nelson has a special place in the heart of Scottie Scheffler

Scottie Scheffler has the CJ Cup Byron Nelson and a good reason for a good reason.
Scheffler, the world's number 1 golfist, made the first release at PGA Tour at the age of 17.
Now 28, Scheffler, McKinney, when he returns to the tournament in Texas is looking for the first win of the season.
Dallas resident has the best five this season. Scheffler also made 36 -hole leaders at TPC Craig Ranch before settling at a T5 end two years ago.
“This tournament has really good memories.” He said. “This tournament always treated me really well. I was lucky to take a place here when I was senior in high school. This was my first PGA Tour event. I have many great memories of this event.
“… it is nice to go back.”
As for why he was “back”, he missed the last year's tournament while waiting for his son Bennett's birth. Scheffler said these events were a bit blurry.
“I can't say if I watched the tournament last year. The only thing I can say is that it is good to return this year.”
Scheffler is not the only golfeƧ with ties with dallas in this tournament. In fact, Jordan Spieth and Si Woo Who will play in the same group as Scheffler on Thursday and Friday.
“It will be really fun to play with Jordan here,” Scheffler said. “The community here clearly loves him with his success and the success of the community and the impact of the course in the community.”
