Cowboys Buy Wr George Pickens from Stelers for draft choices

Dallas Cowboys bought a large -buyer George Pickens from Pittsburgh Stelers in a trade on Wednesday in exchange for a draft collection compensation.

Going to Dallas with Pickens will select the sixth round in the 2026 NFL Draft, the third round in 2026 and the fifth round in 2027.

The cowboys were looking for another best Wideout to match the four -time pro Bowl selection with Ceedee Lamb, which had 66 more targeted from the next closest member of the team last season. The LAMB directed the club in the captures (101) and took the yard (1,194) to go with six touches.

This move comes six months after Dallas bought Dallas's broad -buyer Jonathan Mingo and the seventh round of the 2025 NFL draft from Carolina Panthers for the fourth round election in the same draft.

On March 9, Stelers acquired a large -buyer DK Metcalf from Seattle Seahawks. The pro Bowl selection twice has signed a four -year $ 132 million agreement with Pittsburgh.

The Free Agent is waiting for Aaron Rodgers' an answer to whether Stelers still sign with Pittsburgh.

24 -year -old Pickens, last season in 14 games with three goals in 900 yard 59 captures. There is a season in the rookie contract and will be a free agent next March.

Pickens recently seemed to be distant from Stelers, especially the team did not follow the team on social media.

Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin told Journalists Pickens in January, “Absolutely, there's more space for growth.”

Pickens has a reception of 2,841 yards with 12 scales in 48 career matches since the selection of Steler in the second round of 2022 NFL draft.
