CSK on the threshold of creating unwanted IPL registration at home

CSK has won only 2 games under the score table in IPL 2025.
Chennai Super Kings have been extremely poor in IPL 2025. More so at home – the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai. What used to be Dhoni and co’s “Anbuden” has now turned out to be their haunting ground. On Wednesday, the five-time champions have one last chance to find an exit from creating an unwanted history that is almost certain to happen.

Last chance for CSK
For the first time in nearly 15 years, CSK have lost four consecutive matches at home. Since 2008-10, Dhoni and co. have suffered four successive losses at home in IPL 2025. Currently, the team is at the bottom of the points table, with only two wins to their name from nine matches.
A loss against PBKS on Wednesday would spell doom for CSK. It would be the first time in the history of the tournament that they have lost 5 consecutive times at the Chepauk. It is pertinent to point out that the PBKS challenge won’t be an easy one for CSK to overcome. After all, Shreyas Iyer and co. have 11 points to their name from 9 games, having won 5 games.
