Cubs Ace Justin Steele is undergoing surgery and sharing the hospital photo

Chicago Cubs Ace was under his left hand Justin Steele underwent elbow surgery on Friday.

After the surgery, he published a photo smiling on the X from the hospital bed, his arm was heavily wrapped and standing on a pillow.

“Appreciate prayers and thoughts .. God is good,” the photo wrote.

In the early hours of the day he wrote:

“Today surgery. I just wanted to spend some time to thank everyone who sent their thoughts and prayers. For me, the world means the world in the number of people who reach me. It is appreciated beyond faith. I will be better than ever.”

29 -year -old Steele defeated the cubs on Friday. It was known that he would undergo reconstructive elbow surgery and miss the rest of the season, but Tommy John was immediately unclear whether he had surgery or partial repair.

In 2023, Steele was removed from the National League CY Young Prize in the vote for the All-Star election and the fifth place for two years.

Steele gave 3-1 to four beginnings this season, 4.76 ERA and 22 2/3 inning and five home running. His last trip on April 7, he saw eight strikes and Texas Rangers had thrown a seven closure strokes with only three strokes.

In five seasons with CUBS, in 102 matches (91 beginning) 3.30 ERA with 32-22, 517 strikes and 506 2/3 square 155 walks.
