Danial “Danial” Patel and Tejaskumar Hasmukhbhai Bhoi will represent the Indian team at the Presports Waves Esports Championships (WESC) organized by Mumbai’s Jio Congress Center as of May 1. Waves Esports Championship starts today
From an area with more than 35,000 participants, the Indian leg brought together the first eight players in two headings (Defoball and World Cricket Championship 3) from the Four WESC 2025 stage. In an intense reckoning, Danial took the top in Efootball, while performing better than the peers in Tejas WCC3. In its international leg, Danial will face Malaysia, Laos and Thailand rivals in Efootball, while Nepal and Sri Lanka in Tejas WCC3 will compete against representatives.

Esports has an important place in the AVGC-XR Waves Summit Column, which recognizes the developing game and competitive video game scene in India. This dynamic segment uses the impressive scale of the global summit by predicting the participation of more than 5,000 delegates from 100 countries and more than 750 creators.

In the midst of this live environment, Danial and Tejas will be honored with Waves Trophy on May 4 and celebrate their victories on the Indian leg. Pappu Kumar Priyedarshi, who ranks second and third in WCC3, will be the second and third place in WCC3, Akash Rudro Dhar and Pawan Kampelli, who completed the podium in Efootball, and Pawan Kampelli and Pappu Kumar Priyedarshi. The General International Champions will be honored with WESC medals at the Createosphere Award Ceremony on May 4th.
