“Yes, it was really good last week,” Riley said on Wednesday to journalists Fort Worth, at the Colonial Country Club in Texas. “I stacked a few beautiful weeks in the past two months. Yes, I feel like a trend. I don’t know why. For some reason, I love this part of the program.”

28 -year -old Riley gathered the first PGA Tour individual title last year with the traditional winner’s plaid jacket and the restored 1975 Corvette Stingray. Scottie Scheffler and Keegan Bradley made 14, five strokes.

Scheffler won the PGA championship at Quail Hollow on Sunday, and Riley shot five shots from Harris English and Bryson Dechambeau.

As Riley reached the colonial, emotional peaks continued.

“Walk and driving and seeing your own parking place there, seeing the past champion, seeing your face a little more. It brings me back to this time last year.” He said. “Really great memories. … Quite surreal.

After a slow start to the season, after four flat kidnapped sections, Riley showed a seventh place at the Porto Riko Open in March at the Porto Riko Open. He ranked 21st in his first appearance in Masters in April.

The 1992 Schwab defender was completely restored to grab this year.

“It would be quite special for both of them to be side by side.” He said. “Charles Schwab has this iconic baby blue, so it’s really great. Yes, it would be really great to add it to the defender collection.”
