A second trip to playoffs in three seasons means that New Jersey Devils can safely declare that the expanded reconstruction was completed.

For Detroit Red Wings, such emotions should once again wait until next year.

Red Wings will continue to prepare for the playoffs while the teams continue to play the rope on Wednesday night, when the teams meet in NJ

Devils, on Tuesday, the host Boston Bruins 5-4 on the sidelines after holding the next set. Red Wings was closed on Tuesday the day after beating Dallas Stars 6-4.

The devils (42-32-7, 91 points) with the playoff seed set and three matches losing line on Tuesday have only one target on Wednesday: to be as close to health as possible from the normal season finals.

New Jersey will finish the third place in the Metropolitan Department and will be second in the first round of a season series with Carolina Hurricanes.

The demons fled a fear of injury on Tuesday, when he left a pair of shots in the first period, when he left the wing player Ondrej Palat. Coach Sheldon Keefe said that the x -ray is negative, but that Palat will sit on Wednesday when New Jersey could listen to another player.

The demons drew seven players who claimed Paul Cotter, who served the first competition of a two -game suspension for offering an illegal check to the president of New York Adam Pelech on Sunday.

“Our entire group, we’ll have to look at,” Keefe said. “There are a few men here today – make sure that we feel some things on our wounded list and how men feel the right decisions (Wednesday) and we don’t put anyone unnecessarily.”

The devils, which reached the semifinals of the Eastern Conference in 2023, made playoffs twice in three years between 2010-2012. They reached once in the next 10 years after the season.

Red Wings (38-35-7, 83 points) will miss the playoffs for the ninth year in a row-Dervroit, the season reaches 25 straight times and a franchise record drought that began immediately after breaking a number of records.

When the red wings moved to the first wild card point of the east when they went from January 23 to 25 February, they seemed to capture the line of four points from the ninth row. However, Detroit then went to 8-13-1 and was removed from the contention on Saturday, when Montreal Canadiens won a point in Toronto Maple Leafs 1-0 more working loss.

Detroit will miss the playoffs with a greater difference, and this season will finish with less points than last season, Red Wings tied Washington Capitals to the second wild card point with 91 points, but lost Tiebreak.

Lucas Raymond, who was credit on Monday after taking the third quarter of Red Wings’s four -third periods, said, “We said how close we were this season, how close we were, how close we were.”

He continued: “We couldn’t do this, and we know it, and it’s about finding what we need to do as a team to look at ourselves and take the next step.”
