Diamondbacks Roki Sasaki targets Dodgers in the rematch

Allow the competition to continue.
Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Dodgers took their first glance on Thursday, when Arizona took advantage of Gabriel Moreno’s fourth Grand Islam and 5-3 victory for a 5-3 win at the set on Phoenix.
The record between the last two teams representing the National League in the World series, even in the last two plus season.
Each of the teams won eight of 16 matches in 2023, but the Diamondbacks NL Division series recorded a three -game sweep. Dodgers went 7-6 against Arizona in 2024.
Both teams love competition.
“We like to compete against Dodgers,” Arizona manager Toray Lovullo said. He said. “They’re an elite franchise. They’ve done it for a long time. It is exciting when they came to town.”
Dodgers’ rookie right-handed Roki Sasaki (1-1, 3.86 ERA) will oppose the left hand of Arizona on Friday to Eduardo Rodriguez (1-3, 5.92).
Like Yoshinobu Yoshinobu Yamamato on Thursday, Sasaki will rest the first of the season for five days. He and Yamamoto were stuck to a regime once a week, but a program containing rotation injuries and 10 games in 10 days forced a change.
“We are revealing the best of them,” Davegers manager Dave Roberts said. He said. “This is an athletic team. They are really defending. They are good in bases. Playing in the same section, obviously there is a lot of familiarity. There may be a fun series.”
Sasaki has been a foundation in rotation since the Japan series in Tokyo on March 18-19, but his first victory until his last trip did not win 10-3 victory in Atlanta last Saturday.
Sasaki threw the 98 highest fields of the season and left three runs for the second competition in a row, but he took advantage of seven runs in the first three Inning and driving.
“This is the plan,” Roberts said about keeping Sasaki about resting for five days between the beginning. “Considering the closed days, there may be other days by resting for six days”
Sasaki has better divisions at the beginning of four roads than a third of the three -third – 3.50 ERA and 15 strikes in 18 strokes.
Rodriguez fought at the beginning of three, and on April 17, he has given up 16 runs in 16 Inning since the victory of 6-4 in Miami. Diamondbacks decided on his 11-9 wins in Philadelphia on Sunday.
This season is one of the eight big leagues with at least two -digit strike matches.
“I prefer to go seven (inning) with two (strike).” He said. “This is my main reason to go there. When I hit many men, I’m going to five inning and 100 fields. So I’m trying to communicate for me, and if I buy a man for a man to hit with three or four fields, this will be great.
“I’m not calling myself a strike jug. I’m here to give the opportunity to win the game every time I go out.”
Rodriguez is 1-4 with 6,00 ERA at five career meetings against Dodgers.
