Keanu Reeves will revive the revenge Hitman John Wick in the newly announced John Wick 5.

The news officially ends speculation that the character died in the fourth installment of Franchise.

Adam Fogelson, President of Lionsgate Cinema Film Group, broke the news in Cinemacon in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Chad Sthelski, who also directs four of the previous John Wick films, will return to Reeves by returning to the film series that revenues more than $ 1 billion (£ 774 million) worldwide.
