Ducks reject the head coach Greg Cronin after 2 seasons

As the head coach, Keyeim Ducks fired Greg Cronin on Saturday morning after two seasons.

On June 5, 2023, the 61-year-old Cronin accepted the first position as the NHL head coach, and after he broke the 62-87-15 record in Anaeim. The ducks took the sixth place to miss the playoffs in the Sevi Sweet season in the 35-37-10 (80 points) sign in 2024-25 and in the Pacific section.

Ducks General Manager Pat Verbeek, “I want to thank Greg for his personally for his tireless work and his devotion to the team.” He said. “Responsible for many aspects for the development we see from our young seed.

“However, after a few weeks of care, we needed a change in the direction and a new voice. This was an extremely difficult decision for me, but I felt that it was necessary to continue our progress to be a Stanley Cup contestant that I know we could be.”

Cronin, who took over Dallas Eakins, had previously assistant NHL assistant with New York Islanders (1998-2003, 2014-18) and Toronto Maple Leafs (2011-14). He also served as the BridgePort Sound Tigers (2003-05) and the head coach of the American Hockey League (2018-23) and the bench boss at Northeastern University.
