ECB Bars Immediately Effective Female Cricket's Transsexual players

On Friday, the UK and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) forbade transsexuals to compete in women's and girls matches and followed a new Supreme Court decision that excludes them from the legal definition of women. ECB's decision, football Association (FA) made a similar decision came 24 hours after the decision. A statement published by the ECB announced that after the last Supreme Supreme Court decision, “updated legal position” announced a change in their regulations on the suitability of transsexual players.
“Immediately in force, only biological sex women will be suitable for playing women's jacks and girls. He said.
Although ECB has everything for sporting in sport, the Supreme Court's decision encouraged him to create new rules for women and girls crickets.
“Our arrangements for Recreational Cricket have always aimed to ensure that the jack remains as inclusive as possible.
“However, considering the new advice on the impact of the Supreme Court decision, we believe that the changes announced today are necessary.” The British Football Association (FA) announced on Thursday that transsexual women can no longer compete in women's football in the UK as of June 1.
The Supreme Court's decision on April 15 came after a campaign group for “Scottish women” brought a petition that objected to the fact that sex -based guards should only be applied for people born.
Although ECB will have a “significant impact” on transsexual women and girls in sports, the body added that the body will enable them to be well supported by the cricket ecosystem.
“We acknowledge that this decision will have a significant impact on transsexual women and girls. We will work with entertainment cricket boards to support people affected by this change in our arrangements.”
ECB, “abuse or discrimination” has no place in the jack and the equality and Human Rights Commission on the subject (EHRC) will examine the report, he added.
ECB statement, “We are waiting for the updated guidance from the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) and we will carefully examine it. We are determined to ensure that abuse or discrimination is not in our sport and the jack is played in the spirit of respect and inclusion.”
