England says Putin’s army has changed speed in Ukraine

According to England, Vladimir Putin’s army has slowed down significantly with its regional gains in Ukraine for the last few months.
Russia is still occupying around one -fifth of Ukraine territory, but trying to push it forward and seize more regions.
Putin has even released the greatest invasion to support his army, and Donald Trump is trying to negotiate a peace agreement.
However, according to the British Ministry of Defense (mode), Russia is not so successful on the front line.
Mod said in the latest social media update about the war: “Russian regional gains in Ukraine decreased in the first quarter of 2025, and the Russian forces seized only 143 km2 Ukraine Region in March 2025, less than 5 kilometers per day.”
The British authorities followed this progress until the end of last year.
Mod, “Russia’s advance rate has fell for months since November 2024, when its forces seized more than 700 km2,” Mod said.
“Most of the progress of the Russian forces in March 2025 were at the center of Donetsk Oblast, but Russia did not improve its operational position.”
According to intelligence officers, Ukraine successfully pushes some Russian forces back.
“The Ukrainian forces also reversed some of Russia’s gains around Pokrovsk and carried out tactical attacks,” he said.
“The level of Russian land attacks on a few axes decreased in most March 2025.
“These began to increase towards the end of the month, but it did not result in a higher progress rate.”
Since Putin invaded Ukraine in 2022, it should be noted that Russia’s wounded rate has reached approximately 900,000 – wounded or dead. According to Mod.
However, as Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned the weekend, Russia is still launching daily air strikes in Ukraine.
MOD’s update comes after Putin’s ministers published the US’s proposals for a peace plan.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told the media in his American proposals “there is no room for our main demand”, and therefore Moscow will “accept such a plan.
Even if Trump means settling in Russia’s conditions, he forces it to make a quick decision on the Ukrainian War.
US President has managed to secure partial fever against the Black Sea and Ukrainian energy infrastructure – but both sides claim that the short ceasefire is now broken.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Friday, Russia’s “serious or not peace”, the world will know “in a few weeks”, he said.
