Ramith Rambukwella, a former Sri Lanka international cricket player, was arrested by an anti -Graft commission on Wednesday in connection with a corruption case of his politician father. The Bribery or Corruption Allegations (CIABOC) investigation commission called Rambukwella to appear on Wednesday morning before. He was arrested after he made a statement with the bribery commission. He was later arrested by the Colombo Chief Magistrate Court until June 3. Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali gave permission to name Rambukwella as a suspicious in the corruption case linked to his father Keheliya Rambukwella, a former strong minister under the direction of Rajapaxas.
