Former Texas Tech Guard Kevin Overton is transferring to Auburn, which will be the third team in three seasons.
Overton accepted a report from on3.com on the Instagram page on Thursday and showed a photo of a photo Red Raiders to the tigers.
Oveton received 7.8 points and 3.7 rebounds as a valuable reserve for a Texas technology staff that reached Elite Eight before losing the final champion Florida. It started only once in 36 matches played in 3 points and hit 33.1 percent.
Overton played the first university season in Drake and with an average of 11.3 points and 3.3 rebounds (all starts) in 35 games.
Auburn received a commitment from Overton on the same day, Chad Baker-Mazara entered the transfer portal. All-American Johni Broome is also out of compliance and passes to the NBA.
