Fast starting mercury call another win and sparks

After the first release to the 2025 season, it is time for Phoenix Mercury to write an Encore.
They will work on Wednesday night, where they host Los Angeles Sparks.
Phoenix visited Seattle 81-59 on Sunday on Sunday and received 47 points from the largest offseason purchases. In the first match of a player, Sabally scored 27 of the 27th match, a franchise record, Thomas made 20 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
However, the second year coach Nate Tibbetts was very impressed by what he did when his team was not a ball. Mercury allowed Seattle to make only 33.3 percent of the field and had 38-29 advantages on the boards.
Im I thought our defense was great, Tib Tibbetts said. “Our defense to the ball, our pick-a roll scope, our toughness, our sand … You cannot be a good defense without finishing the goods. We did it and this is important.”
The more encouraging for Phoenix was that he did these things without the leading striker Kahle (knee) four to six weeks after he had arthroscopic surgery last year.
In the meantime, Los Angeles (1-1), Mercury’s hope written by the season did not have enough follow-up. After breaking the first match of Golden State with 84-67 decision on Friday night, Sparks reduced home openers to 89-75 on Sunday night.
The first year coach Lynne Roberts said that Los Angeles should be even more difficult. Lynx was only followed by 46-45 between the circuit, but a 8-0 run that separates Minnesota coughs.
“We looked apparently angry, and as a player not only to help you, the other (team) believed me, they noticed that.” He said. “They see some cracks, they will step on your throat.”
Offseason Purchase Kelsey Plum gets an average of 27.5 points per game, while Deariica Hamby adds 17 points and 10 rebounds per trip.
Last year, Phoenix won the four meetings of the teams an average of 10.8 points per game.
