Captain Ajinkya Rahane, who was busy with Kolkata Knight Riders's Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 campaign, announced that Mumbai's friend Rohit Sharma retired from the test jack. Rohit's decision came to prepare for the league conflict against Rahane's KKR's Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Rahane, who spoke to the media after the game, came to learn Rohit's decision to quit and confessed that the captain of the KKR was “shock”. Rahane didn't believe she heard such news, and she said she would call Rohit after returning to the dressing room.
“Oh, isn't it?” Rahane said when Rohit was informed about the retirement of test. “I didn't know. I was shocked. I was playing a game, so I didn't realize it. But I want to wish him the best.”
Rahane, “Middle -rise 5 or 6 began and then opened the innings. The way of adaptation was great. Always the pottery and tried to play with freedom – this is something that others want to do.” He said.
“I will probably call him when I return to the locker room or send him a message.” “But I definitely want to congratulate him for a great test career.”
As for the match, Rahane's KKR, especially Dewald Brevis and Shivam Dube, had a narrow defeat against CSK after a highly valuable partnership arrangement.
“It was really hard (pill to swallow and lose), Raha Rahane said after the match. He continued: “We were shortest, 185-195 would be an ideal total in this field.”
“Absolutely. In this format, one can change my momentum. They took and paid the chances of (Brevis and Pubble). Everything was about being brave and really brave.”
With the defeat, KKR's playoffs have a chance to compete with rock. Although the team is still mathematically in the race, Rahane is only thinking of winning the two remaining games and then seeing what happened. “Try to win two of the two people, and then see what's going to happen from there,” he said.
