The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced the men’s central contract list for the 2024-25 season. The Grade A+ category, reserved for the top-performing players, includes Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and Jasprit Bumrah, reinforcing their status as key members of the Indian cricket team.
Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan have made their way back into the central contracts list after previously missing out. Iyer has been placed in Grade B, while Kishan finds himself in Grade C.
As per BCCI’s policy, players who meet specific match participation criteria are automatically placed in Grade C. To qualify, a cricketer must have played at least three Test matches, eight ODIs, or ten T20Is within a given evaluation period.

Grade A: Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Shami and Rishabh Pant.
Grade B: Suryakumar Yadav. Kuldeep Yadav. Axar Patel. Yashasvi Jaiswal. and Shreyas Iyer.
Grade C: Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shivam Dube, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, Mukesh Kumar. Ishan Kishan. Sanju Samson. Arshdeep Singh. Prasidh Krishna. Rajat Patidar. Dhruv Jurel. Sarfaraz Khan. Nitish Kumar Reddy. Abhishek Sharma. Akash Deep. Varun Chakaravarthy. and Harshit Rana.
