Josh Hazlewood from RCB, after the Loss of PBKS “slow students”

RCB Pacer Josh Hazlewood could not break any word after asking the shot series to take steps after losing PBKS
Royal Challengers Bengaluru pacer Josh Hazlewood pinned the blame on the side’s batting line-up for the loss to PBKS. Rajat Patidar and co. were handed a five-wicket defeat by the visitors in the rain-hit tie on Friday. The RCB pace spearhead minced no words in indicating that the batters needed to pull up their socks, especially in the poweplay.

“Slow learners” RCB trolled by their own pacer
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Hazlewood opined that RCB were slow on learnings from their first two defeats at home. Rajat Patidar and co. suffered their third straight loss in Bengaluru on Friday, making an unwanted record for most number of matches lost by a team at a venue in the IPL.
“Yeah, it’s obviously three in a row now at home. It’s just we’ve probably been a bit slow on the learnings from the first two games and didn’t put that into practice as well as we could have, probably in those first probably six to eight overs, obviously, with the score the way it was,” Hazlewood said.
However, the Australian exuded confidence in RCB to fix their mistakes soon. He reckoned that while the team’s bowling had improved, it was now on the batters to do their bit in the future games.
“If we can have our top five, top six doing the batting for the 20 overs, I think that’ll go a long way to helping us win,” he added.
What happened in RCB vs PBKS match?
Even though PBKS went on to lose five wickets, they sealed the win rather easily. Nehal Wadhera was the star for them with the bat scoring an unbeaten 33 from 19.
After a delay of more than two hours, the match started finally, but Arshdeep Singh managed to get Phil Salt in the first over itself. Soon after Virat Kohli also perished. The team kept losing wickets at regular intervals, and even scoring 50 looked difficult. But then a 26-ball 50 from Tim David eventually took them to 95.
