Galaxy Call the first win of the season, Fact Sporting KC

Two proud franchisees are struggling to gain traction in the 2025 MLS season and they will line up on Sunday evening to see if they can do it against each other.

La Galaxy (0-7-3, 3 points) will travel to Sporting Kansas City (2-7-1, 7 points), looking for the first win of the 2025 season. The galaxy is one of the two wine -free teams in the league. The other is CF Montreal.

Defending MLS champions, with two goals in the latest matches, Portland Timbers'a 4-2 defeat matched. After Portland fell behind 3-0, Galaxy used Christian Ramirez's fifth goal to score two goals. Ramirez made a cross from Joseph Paintsil in the 67th minute.

Ramirez then fed Marco Reus, who finished Los Angeles in the lower corner of the target to score a goal two minutes later. However, Portland burned the victory with a goal in 76 minutes.

“It will be special, but I don't want anything but winning.” He said.

SKC call coach Kerry Zavagnin knows that it will not be easy to keep the galaxy low.

“You should respect them when you play la,” he said. “They have great players and many of these players have lifted a trophy a long time ago. They know how to win and good coaches. When you play a team of this size, it's a great opportunity.”
