New Delhı: South Africa Pacer Kagiso Rabada announced that he was currently under temporary suspension after testing a functioning drug on Saturday. The Lord came out of the Premier League last month, and Gujarat announced that he had left. At that time, the Lord said the personal reasons for returning home.
“This was my return to a negative analytical finding for the use of a drug for entertainment,” the Lord said.
“In the future, this moment will not define me,” he added. “I will continue to do what I do, I will work hard and play with passion and commitment to my craft.”
Cricket South Africa (CSA) also made a statement confirming the development.
“Cricket South Africa (CSA), Proteas Men Right Arm Fast Bowler Kagiso Rabada may confirm that a negative analytical finding for the use of a prohibited substance. But Rabada has determined CSA and its fans re -expressed its passion for professional standards and the country.
“CSA is completely connected to non -drug -free sport and reminds both professional and amateur cricket players the importance of being attached to all regulations. We are determined in our support to all players.”
Rabada, 168 ODI and 71 T20i scalp, along with an average of 327 tests in 227 tests was an important figure for South Africa.
