ICC, ICC announced on Tuesday, ICC, Southern California, Pomona’nın 2028 Los Angeles Olympics during the Cricket competition will host.
The cricket event, each of which will be included in the male and female categories, will be held in the fairgrounds in Pomona and sports will be a part of the Olympics after 128 years.
ICC President Jay Shah said in a statement, “We are glad to announce the announcement of the cricket venue in Los Angeles 2028, because an important step for preparing our sport to return to the Olympics.”

“Although the cricket is a very popular sport, it will be a great opportunity to expand traditional boundaries when it is in the Olympics in the Olympics in the Olympics, which should appeal to new audiences.”
In 1900, Cricket, who made his only appearance in the Olympics at the Paris Games, was included in the Los Angeles Olympics program in October 2023 after the 141st session in Mumbai.
Cricket participated in five new sports, including baseball/volleyball, flag football, Lakros (six) and Squash in LA28.
The T20 format, known as a tool for the growth of the game by ICC, has been involved in other multiple sports events in recent years. While the Asian games in 2010, 2014 and 2023 presented both male and female T20 competitions, Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games organized a women’s competition.
