In a statement on Saturday, Franchise, Gujarat Titans multi -faceted Glenn Phillips, was removed from the rest of the Premier League of Indian Premier League due to groin injury. Titans said in a statement, returning home, “on April 6 against Sunrisers Hyderabad against the IPL competition against the groin was injured,” he said. Although Phillips is not part of GT’s XI play all season, he remained a spare field player in the game against SRH.
The injury occurred in the final of the power game in SRH’s shot. Phillips deployed in the point made a shot from Ishan Kishan. But as he threw the ball back, he stretched his groin and fell to the ground in pain.
Phillips then comes out of the field with another GT camp.
Phillips is the second player returning home from the Gujarat Titans camp. Previously, South African fast bowling player Kagiso Rabada left the team to return home for personal reasons.
