Babar Azam dismissal

Opening the innings for Peshawar Zalmi alongside Saim Ayub, Babar Azam was dismissed for a duck on the final delivery of the first over by Quetta Gladiators’ Mohammad Amir.

Amir bowled a textbook delivery — full and just outside off — tempting Babar into a drive. However, the ball held its line and bounced a bit off the pitch, causing Babar to mistime his shot. Instead of finding the gap, he ended up chipping it gently to Rilee Rossouw at short cover, handing Amir an early breakthrough.
