After a victory of a game with both lopsy and a nail-severity, Carolina Hurricanes, who visited, is trying to get more command of the Eastern Conference semi-final series with Washington Capitals on Thursday’s Game 2.

Carolina, Jaccob Slavin never leads to the first overtime period until 3:06 points in the game 1. However, considering how well the hurricanes control the action, only Capitals goalkeeper Logan Thompson prevented the game from a rute.

Hurricanes left Washington with 33-14 margins in the target shots and 94-34 edges in the attempts. Aliaksei Protas’s second period target made a leadership for the capitals, but Carolina’s pressure finally passed into the third period with Logan Stanoven 9:42.

“This is only relying on the game plan. He said. “This (head coach Rod Brind’amour) preaches.

The game 1 was an extension of Carolina’s versatile game for the normal season in many ways. Hurricans allowed at least a team of any team in NHL (24.9) per game, while the average shooting totals (31.7) were second in the league.

Hurricans also directed NHL at the percentage of penalty killing in the normal season (83.6 percent) and became even more stingy during the playoffs. Carolina is a 17 to 17 in the murder of this season, including 2 to 2 demonstrations against Capitals in Game 1.

Washington was one of the largest score of the league despite the lack of net puck, because Capitals ranked 22.6 shots in NHL with only 22.6 shots. The capitals were a little better by making an average of 29.6 shots per game with Montreal Canadiens in the first round of playoff series, but the 14 shots of Game 1 were connected with the second lowest shot in Washington’s playoff.

“They were pressing us all over the ice, Cap Capitals said advanced Dylan Strome. “We have to find a way to break it. I feel that we don’t play our hockey style tonight. We let them dictate the game and it’s a good team when they let them do it.”

The silver lining view of the game 1 for Washington is that the capitals are still almost a win due to Thompson’s ongoing impressive game. Thompson has a .926 savings percentage and 2.17 goals average in winning four of the six matches this season.

Frederik Andersen (4-1) was perfect in Carolina’s network, with a percentage of savings and 1.45 gaa in five playoff matches.

An unexplained injury held Andersen in the last match of the first round series of New Jersey Devils and Hurricanes. The goalkeeper looked as sharp and healthy as it had to continue to be Carolina’s regular launcher in this series against Washington.

Carolina was shot with another injury in the game 1 because Mark Jankowski was separated by an unexplained injury in the second period. If Jankowski missed the game 2, Tyson Jost or Jack Roslovic would probably join the series.

Strome is leading Washington with nine playoff points (two goals, seven assists). Sebastian Aho leads Hurricanes with eight points (three goals, five assists) in the playoff score.
