I learned that my son died when he was on vacation and controlled the cameras for my dog … He died for hours

A Scottish mother told us about the destructive moment she discovered that she had died in the Dominican Republic after checking a dog camera in her son’s house.
52 -year -old Maryann Taylor was abroad last September, where he noticed something unusual in the security images and controlled how he did it in the absence of his dogs.
After finding that two dogs were strange, he asked his son Craig’s friend to visit the house.
Tragically, Craig, who would celebrate his 31st birthday on March 27, was found dead on the kitchen floor.
Looking through the window, his friend saw his lifeless body and the police were called. Craig was left alone for hours before he was discovered.
Maryann, who suffered from heart condition and arthritis, has been trauma since then, and could not escape the memories of that moment.
Every day, Craig passes the room where he dies and struggles with the return of the tragic scene every night.

Maryann told Daily registration: ‘The first thing I do in the morning is passing through the empty bedroom.
‘The second thing I did is to go to the room where he died, and all these hours were left on his own.
“ I can’t spend a day when I was trapped in this house. ”
Since his son’s destructive loss, Maryann has been fighting for a new council house in accordance with his needs.
He begged the Edinburgh Council for a property to visit his daughter and caregiver, as well as a property with a space for two dogs.
Despite his demands, he says that he has been proposed to unsuitable properties by leaving him incredibly in a difficult situation.
He said: ‘I can’t get help anywhere. I am a person, I am disabled and I have heart condition and arthritis.
“ My life line is my two dogs, I need a house with a garden for them. I can’t live in an apartment, I can’t go up the stairs, and there’s no place for dogs to go. ‘
Add: ‘I just feel the system is broken.’
Despite their struggle, Maryann continues to fight the system with the help of MSP Alex Cole-Hamilton.
He described his case as one of the most tragies he faced and added that he was working closely with the council to find a solution.
Maryann’s GP wrote a letter summarizing the worsening mental health that has worsened since Craig’s death.

The letter also wants a space for a house without stairs and a house to alleviate its pain.

“ I was very tired of fighting, ” he confessed. ‘It’s hard to believe that my departure takes so long.’
