Inter Miami CF signed a defender Jordi Alba to extend a contract in 2027 season on Thursday.
On the left Spanish left, since he joined Miami in July 2023, there are five goals and 19 assists in 46 MLS match (39 starters). In 2024, MLS All-Star and MLS were the best XI choice.
Alba, “I am happy to renew my contract because I have a desire to continue the competition and how I feel in the club, with the love I get from fans in every match.” He said.
“I am very comfortable in the club in the last two years and I feel that I am very loved by all fans. I have a desire to continue the competition, continue to win and hope to win as many titles as possible.”
Alba, together with former FC Barcelona teammates Lionel Mesi, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez, helped the club’s leagues Cup in 2023 and its shield in 2024.
Alba played more than 450 games with Barcelona and won six La Liga Championships, Seven Copa Del Rey and 2014 UEFA Champions League.
