The backward running class in 2025 is defined as the depth of the decade. This class can replace one -third of the existing NFL beginnings and do not shock me.
To go further, there are about 16 players in the class that I believe to be in the beginning. This ability infusion is very versatile, power backs and speed ridges are well represented.
Here are the top five:
Ashton Jeanty, Boise State
For a better part of a year, Jeanty returned at the highest level in this class, and the Hype train never stopped pulling for several reasons.
Jeanty’s vision and balance of contact seems to never handle, and the sum of the gardens is the highest of the country. In a hurry, profiles as a versatile back that can take the responsibilities of taking and blocking.
The only flaw is that it can only be average in terms of speed – Emmitt Smith – but its vision and instincts compensate for it. Jeanty is an open player in the classroom.
Treveyon Henderson, Ohio State

Upon full healthy return, henderson seemed to have never missed a rhythm. In the open area, the acceleration is impressive with the first and second gear that leaves advocates in dust.
While prefers to stay away from damage, when it should be physical, it descends and can truck through contact without losing its highest speed and is also an impressive blocking with a similar style. Henderson wouldn’t be in the first round.
Omarion Hampton, North Carolina

The first explosion from the background will turn the heads, but the speed in the last game is even more pronounced. When he finds a soft point in the scope, he goes to the races.

Johnson could jump out of his own way and rinse his legs to continue to progress long after the game had to end. Physically wrapped, this muscle uses to break the defenses like a destruction ball.
