Eoin Morgan: Old England White Ball Captain for the role of the McC committee

The decision to hire Morgan would have seen a cunning look by MCC after the agreement of selling 49% of the London Spirit, London -based franchise, to a consortium of technology billionaires.

Morgan’s comprehensive franchise cricket experience is seen as a valuable asset for MCC, while spent a significant time in the history of the entire game.

Born in Dublin, Morgan covered England with more than 50 World Cup glory in 2019 and played a major role in the reserve of the country’s limited side.

Morgan will also consult some of the wider cricket problems encountered by MCC.

Among them, the future of Eton and at least until 2027 will remain in the house of the Harrow match.

In 2024, Morgan was a member of the Honorary Life of MCC and is also the president of the Professional Cricketists Association (PCA).

Earlier this year, he lived in the World Cricket Committee, which was renewed as a new Global Advisory Board, including Jay Shah, the President of the International Cricket Council.

Morgan is among the four suggestions of key positions to be voted by MCC members in AGM.

It also includes a proposal for Julian Metherell, a partner of the financial investment company MW & L Capital Partners, to join the main committee.

Former PCA president Methell led the MCC’s negotiation team during the selling process that brings £ 145 million in Spirit in London.

Mark Nicholas, a publisher and former cricket player, is chaired by the MCC’s main committee, and includes the new general manager and secretary Rob Lawson and the former governor of the Bank of England Lord King.
