Dhoni will lead the Chennai Super Kings for the rest of the IPL season after being removed from the tournament with a elbow fracture of Gaikwad regularly captain.
Ruturaj was hit by his right elbow during the match against Rajasthan Royals last month, but played the next two matches against Delhi Capitals and Punjab kings.
