Toronto FC has not defeated Real Salt Lake in Utah for nearly 18 years.

Real Salt Lake has been at home against Toronto FC since he lost his first meetings.

Toronto won 2-1 against Real Salt Lake in a match on 4 July 2007 at Utah University campus in SALT Lake City. Since then, the RSL has dominated at home with an undefeated line with a victory in the 2010 Concacaf Champions League.

The first year Toronto coach Robin Fraser said, “Playing is a hard place.” He said. “Historically they play there well. Over the years, the results were not good (for Toronto) because it is a difficult place.”

The results were not good for Toronto FC (0-4-4, 4 points) this season.

Toronto went 0-4-1 in the first five matches before playing three straight shots. Last week, the club played a score -free tie against Minnesota United.

Deandre Kerr of Toronto will miss his third flat game due to ankle injury. With Federico Bernardeschi, two goals depend on the team’s leadership. Fraser expects Kerr to miss at least one more month.

Real Salt Lake (3-5-0, 9 points) dropped three of the last four matches.

The result of the last week was painful, because Sam Surridge from Nashville scored a decisive goal in the first minute of the second half-stop time to send Salt Lake for 2-1 defeat.

The prominent Diego Luna (the team’s three top goals) sees a developing team that has not yet fully found its step.

“We play well, L Luna said. “The team is healing, we’re growing, building chemistry, but there are small things that need to be corrected to bring them all together.”

RSL coach Pablo Mastroeni: “We have taken some good steps in the last few weeks and played some good things in the last game. There are some pure moments.

Javain Brown, a Salt Lake defender, was done for the season after the surgery on Wednesday to repair a torn ACL and the meniscus damage on the left knee. During an application session, it damaged the brown knee.
