The first round election Ben Saraf announced that he had entered the 2025 NBA draft on Friday.
“This is the right time for me,” he said to Espn. “After playing against the highest competition levels in European basketball, I am ready and excited for the draft.”
The 6 -meter 6 -point protector is listed by ESPN as a hope number 23 in the draft pool.
19 -year -old Saraf, 41 matches this season, Germany’s Ratiopharm ULM with an average of 12.2 points and 4.3 assists.
“We work really well in Ulm,” Espn said. “They are not afraid to give a platform to young players here. They trust us and we have paid them back with gains. We are second in the BBL and we hope to win a trophy this season. Coaches and staff have helped me to develop a lot since I came here. It was a win-winner for everyone.”
Saraf, FIBA U18 Eurobasket’te MVP honor after winning the NBA radar last summer and an average of 28.1 points, 5.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 steals for Israel.
The NBA draft combined takes place in Chicago between 11-18 May. The draft will be held in New York between 25-26 June.
