Nathan Mackinnon of Colorado broke a tie in the middle of the third period in which Dallas scored his own goal, and the avalanche was defeated 7-4 in Denver on Thursday to push Game 7 in the Western Conference quarter-final series.
Valeri Nichushkin had two goals, Mackinnon and Cale Makar had a goal, and each of them levels for Colorado with three wins. Martin Necas scored a goal and made a help and Arturi Lehkonen and Josh Manson scored goals. Brock Nelson and Gabriel Landeskog recorded two assists.
Mackenzie Blackwood made 22 savings for the avalanche that will play Game 7 in Dallas on Saturday.
Jake Oettinger finished 41 savings for the stars. Roope Indaz had two goals and two assists, Mikko Rantanen had a goal, and three assists and Mikael Granlund scored a goal.
Colorado watched 4-3 before connecting the game by hitting the rebound of a Landeskog, which was shot in 6: 02 of Nichushkin's third period.
Three minutes later, Mackinnon moved the disc down the left boards and shifted a backhander in front of the network. Sam Steel from Dallas tried to clean the disc on the boards, but he jumped off his teammate Colin Blackwell's right shoulder and fluttered by Oettinger at 9:54.

When Necas re -leads Colorado when he fired a pass from the Makar in the Middle Period 4: 34, but Indian re -tied Blackwood with a shot at 7:51.
Rantanen gave the stars to the first leaders with a writer from the nest in 18:35 of the second.
Stars defender Lian Bichel lost an advantage while fighting Jack Drury and sliding harshly on the 2: 18 boards in the second period. He stayed on ice for a few minutes before he got up and slowly skate on his dallas counter. Bichel did not play again in the second period, but took six shifts in the third.
