Bonnets, 2025, since the birth of Jane Austen, two and a half centuries, “Bad -hole” Mr. Darcy is still doing this for the gene z?
From erotic sound books to a female comedy shows, an Austen Invasion continues this year, and reinterpreting its work is understanding enough to determine a marketing opportunity.
Many of them promise classics to classics like Pride & Prejudice, but does Austen work really need to update to appeal to modern tastes?
Nichi Hodgson – Book The Curious History History: He is currently comparing RegeNcy Romance from Jane Austen to Tinder – “Rituals of the time can be a” sometimes “block for people who want to read stories”.
“But if you read the books, it’s really about emotions and characters,” he insists.
“Mr. Darcy… Initially, he’s a little bad young man. The key tenants of the connection … You know, you know, this is still attractive for people.”
Of course, what you can’t find in Austen’s classics is open sex scenes.
As Hodgson explained: “People didn’t really have sex before they got married, they frowned completely.
“Jump to the Victorian period, and in fact, a third of working -class brides were already pregnant during their wedding days … But this wasn’t something during Jane Austen.”
However, for modern readers who prefer to buy a story with a little more spicier on the bed, the Audio Erotica platform Bloom Stories have just released the Pride & Prejudice version.
The audience will hear 14 hours that Austen revives the iconic love story steam.
Hannah Albertshauser, General Manager of Bloom Stories, confesses that “people have created because they dream about Mr. Darcy for generations”.
“Sexual desire was undoubtedly in the time of Austen, but it was rarely expressed in the literature.
“With this adaptation, we wanted to celebrate sexual strengthening by giving a sound to the desires that emphasize the female agency and taste.”
The fact that people still redesign Austen’s work today is undisputed proof of their solid land… But is it a protection to assume that young readers will only receive pride and prejudice with a more sexy rewriting?
Australian playwright Matthew Semple says the original is “absolutely and a story for young people and by young people.”
“Jane Austen wasn’t much older than many genes when writing today.”
The show transferred from a sales run in Australia to London placed Placed and prejudice for his classic novel Laughs.
Five actors tried to play twenty characters in a chaotic re -expression of Elizabeth Bennet and Mister Darcy’s love story.
“After opening it in Brisbane… We had to add about a month’s show because it just exploded, or he says.

The young stand-up comedian Rosalie Minnitt accepts: “We are still wrestling with this love idea of love from that period.”
Minnitt, his character Lady Clementine, proves that he was one of the prominent hits in Edinburgh Fingge, and after Austen, he goes on a tour with a single female show.
“Genders, men and women are in a very interesting area that doesn’t really understand each other, and the people who struggle with flirting and make the show feel really interesting new energy.”
While the world of friendship changes wildly from the times of Austen, Minnit, which is about the “One” hunting of its show character – believes plus CA change.
“Most of his work was to have fun in the world he lived … to be disappointed by men, to be under pressure by your mother, all of which are still dealing with modern women.”
Until April 27, Waterloo, Vaults, Waterloo is running and prejudice.
