Javagal Srinath announced the match officials for the WTC Final ICC

The Indian Team may not have reached the World Test Championship final, but former Pacer Javagal Srinath serves as the fourth referee with WTC Debutant Nitin Menon and will exist in the country’s upcoming election framework conflict. Richard Illingworth of England and Chris Gaffaney of New Zealand will be the referees in the field in the WTC final in Lord’s. Defense champions Australia will receive South Africa for the first time for Mace in the holy place between 11-15 June.

Illingworth will write history in the final test that stands as a referee for all three WTC finals.
India reached the finals of the first two WTC cycles, but both times, the last obstacle against New Zealand and Australia respectively.
ICC President Jay Shah praised the experience and value of the appointed authorities and expressed their confidence in their performance.
“We are happy to announce a team of experienced match officials for the ICC World Test Championship final in Lord’s, and points to the climax of a highly competitive two -year test match cycle played worldwide.” He said.
He continued: “We are trying to choose the most qualified and deserved authorities for all matches and we are sure that they will perform admirable performance. On behalf of the ICC, I wish them the best and I hope they will like this task.” Illingworth, which is also part of the team in the 2021 and 2023 finals, continues to exist in the election frame test matches. He is also the current ICC referee who won David Shepherd Trophy for the fourth time in 2024.
Last year, Gaffaney was a partnership with ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final, and also served in the WTC 2023 finals between India and Australia.
