Jets' Scott Arniel is among the finalists for the first time for the Jack Adams Award

Winnipeg Jets Coach Scott Arniel, Washington Capitals Capitals Possible Spencer Carbery and Montreal Canadiens coach Martin St. Louis was named the finalist for the first time for the Jack Adams award on Friday.

The prize is given to the head coach, which “contributes the most to the success of the team”.

62-year-old Arniel, Jets, the first season with a record of 56-22-4 as the coach of the team after finishing the first presidents of the franchise's history of the cup directed. It replaced the retired Rick Bowness behind the counter in Winnipeg.

43-year-old Carbery took the capital to the Eastern Conference to the best 51-22-9 record. He offers to be the fourth Capitals coach who won the award.

49 -year -old St. Louis returned Canadiens to the playoffs for the first time since 2021. The 91 points were more than 15 more than the team recorded last season.
