The NBC made a big leap on Monday and announced that Famer Michael Jordan’s hall will make a special contribution to the NBA.

Jordan made the announcement on Monday through a video in front of the NBC and followed the network with an announcement on social media.

“A legendary contribution to our team! We are excited to host Michael Jordan as a special contribution to the NBA and Peacock as a special contribution to the NBA,” NBC said in an article made to X with a short video of Jordan’s play days.

NBC’s 11-year agreement with the league starts with 2025-26 season. The network did not explain the details of Jordan’s special role. Regardless of the six NBA championships and five league MVP in 2003, he will celebrate the first TV role covering the league after retirement.

Jordan, 62, had Charlotte Hornets between 2010-23, and in 2020 he founded NASCAR Team 23xi Racing with a driver Denny Hamlin.

NBC has been returning to the NBA for the first time since 2002.
