Mitch Marner, Maple Leafs Thrash senators serial opener 6-2

Mitch Marner made a goal and two assists for Toronto Maple Leafs with a 6-2 wins against the OTTAWA senators visiting the 1st game of the Eastern Conference on Sunday.

Each of each of John Tavares and William Nylander had a goal and assistance, Auston Matthews had two assists, and Anthony Stolarz saved 31 for Maple Leafs, the seed 2 of the Eastern Conference.

Drake Batherson and Greig scored and Linus Ulmark saved 18 for senators, the first joker team from the east.

When Toronto switched to Oliver Ekman-Tarson, where Scott Laughton was in a hurry, he scored a goal in his second shot and sent a wrist shot between the mixed signs to get ahead 1-0 in the first period.
