Suryakumar Yadav shattered a decade long record as he continued his purple patch in IPL 2025. The Mumbai Indians stalwart missed out a half century but managed to wrestle back the Orange Cap to his favour. The RR vs MI clash marked the 11th consecutive game that Suryakumar Yadav managed to score more than 25, breaking Robin Uthappa’s record for KKR.

Suryakumar Yadav continued his fine form in IPL 2025 with yet another fine show in Jaipur. The Mumbai Indians stalwart has been consistent throughout IPL 2025, clinching the Orange Cap back from Sai Sudharsan.
The 33-year-old has scored more than 25 in every single game he has played this IPL, laying the foundation for Mumbai’s dominance. After openers Ryan Rickelton and Rohit Sharma set the tone, Suryakumar joined hands with captain Hardik Pandya to take Mumbai Indians beyond the 200-run mark.
