Canadiens D David Savard will retire after the playoffs

Montreal Canadiens defender David Savard said on Friday that the team plans to retire after the end of the run after the season.
34 -year -old Savard spent the last four of the 14 NHL season with Canadiens.
Montreal will open playoffs on the road on Monday for the 1st game of the first round of the first round series, the seven best Eastern conference against Washington Capitals, the best seed.
Quebec native this season 75 points in 75 points (a goal, 14 assists) recorded.
Savard, the 2021 Stanley Cup champion with the Gulf of Tampa, made a total of 242 points (54 goals, 188 assists) with Columbus Blue jackets, Yıldırım and Canadiens. He was selected by blue jackets in the fourth round of the 2009 NHL draft.
