NFL New Award: Protector of the Year

On Wednesday, the NFL announced its annual honor to the best aggressive side referee called the league’s protector of the year.

NFL manager Troy Vincent announced the award and looked the Pro Bowl Lineman Dion Dawkins four times to Buffalo Bills, and retired all-pro Andrew Whitworth twice for pushing this idea.

“Get to know the big friends,” Vincent said on Wednesday at the NFL owners meetings in Eagan, Minn.
