Cricket West Indies CEO praises Grenada’s investment in the cricket infrastructure

Chris Dehring, CEO of Crick West Indies (CWI), to the Grenada Government between 3-7 July 2025, West Indies, etc. He praised Grenada National Cricket Stadium, which is preparing to host Australia.

Commenting on the ongoing upgrades, Dehring said, “Grenada’s investment in this place is worth more than one level.” He said.
“Quality infrastructure is necessary not only to maintain high game standards, but also to improve the overall fan experience.
“Considering this, I am very pleased with the ongoing rehabilitation efforts. The work done is a high standard and I am satisfied with the situation of the facility at this stage.
“After the lights have settled, this facility can become an important place for daytime/night test jack in the future and add a new dimension to international matches in Grenada,” he said.
With these improvements, Grenada strengthens its position as a leading cricket destination in the region and is ready to re -meet the international jack at the highest level.
