ORIOLES C Adley Rutschman comes out of the game after making a foul for a mask

Baltimore Orioles Hunter Adley Rutschman, after taking a foul clue from his mask in the third shot, went off the road against Boston Red Sox on Sunday.
Temporary manager Tony Mansolino said Rutschman was removed as a precaution and will be monitored within the next 24 hours. Rutschman did not tell him if he was in the shake protocol.
While the Orioles star remained in the game for the fourth shot, Baltimore sent Maverick Handley as a pinch of a pinch for him on the fifth kick.
“Once (trainers) felt that there was a need to take it as a precaution,” Mansolino said. He said.
Third, Rafael Devers swung to a first -step Fastball, which sent a foul clue to Rutschman’s mask. The game stopped for a few minutes while Catcher collected himself and stayed in the game.
A hunter Gary Sanchez, who serves as a backup of Rutschman, is another blow for Baltimore, who has 10 players on the wounded list. On Sunday, Handley replaced Rutschman, who played in 352 of the 376 normal season matches during the last two plus season.
Rutschman was the general draft number 1 in 2019. This season, he shoots only .211 with five homer and 15 RBI in 50 games.
